TOPEKA, Kan. -- Washburn scored twice in each half to hand Northeastern State a 4-0 loss Friday evening at Yager Stadium in MIAA women's soccer action.
The Ichabods (8-2-2, 5-0-1 MIAA) got on the board early when Kate Hinck scored in the 10th minute. Rilyn Snyder doubled the lead just 11 minutes later, giving Washburn a 2-0 advantage at halftime.
The RiverHawks (6-5-1, 1-4-1 MIAA) were unable to slow down Washburn's attack in the second half as Leah Henke and Sam Searcey added goals in the 65th and 81st minutes, respectively.

Rebecca Partyka made six saves for Northeastern State before
Juliette Langlet entered for the final 17 minutes. NSU was limited to seven shots in the match, none on goal, while Washburn fired 16 total with 10 on target.
Northeastern State will look to bounce back when it visits Emporia State on Sunday, Oct. 19, at 1 p.m.
