ARKADELPHIA, Ark. --  Northeastern State continued its mastery over Ouachita Baptist with a 2-0 victory Wednesday afternoon at Kluck Field, extending its unbeaten streak against the Tigers to 16 straight matches.
The RiverHawks notched their third consecutive shutout over OBU and have now allowed just one goal in the last 11 meetings between the programs.
After a scoreless first half, 
Martin Martinez broke through in the 52nd minute with his third goal of the season to give NSU the lead. 
Carter Adams doubled the advantage 10 minutes later, finishing a setup from 
Joshua Adeyemi in the 62nd minute.
Goalkeeper 
Cameron McColloch recorded three saves to preserve the clean sheet, as NSU improved to 7-5-2 overall and 4-4 in GAC/MIAA play. OBU fell to 2-8-3 (1-6-1).
Adams and Martinez also found the net in the earlier meeting this season in Tahlequah, where the RiverHawks earned a similar result.
Northeastern State returns to action Saturday, Oct. 25, at Harding. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. in Searcy.
