TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- Xavier Glenn poured in 23 points for his second straight 20-point game, and Northeastern State held off Minnesota Crookston 80–73 on Saturday at the NSU Event Center.

Glenn shot 9 of 17 from the floor and hit three 3-pointers, following up his 22-point debut performance with another efficient outing to help the RiverHawks improve to 2–0 for time since the 2019-20 season. Taven Washington added 18 points on a sharp 7-of-10 shooting night, including the dagger — a three-pointer with 43 seconds left — pushing NSU ahead 78–71 and sealing the win.

Nehemiah Weber scored 14 and AJ Reed Jr. finished with 11 points, six rebounds, five assists and four steals for Northeastern State, which shot 44.4% from the field and 36.4% from three while forcing 16 turnovers. The RiverHawks built a 45–36 halftime lead and answered multiple second-half surges from the Golden Eagles.
