TAHLEQUAH - Northeastern State stumbled 7-0 in their women's tennis season opener to Southeastern Oklahoma on Saturday.
Tegan Heaton was the lone NSU player to earn a set win over the Savage Storm, winning her second set 6-4 on court two.Â
Barbora Havlova was pushed to a first-set tiebreaker on court five but ultimately fell 7-6, 6-1.  Â
Southeastern (1-0) won the doubles point and the overall match on court four, claiming their second consecutive win over NSU.Â
The RiverHawks (0-1) will head on the road south of the Red River to play at Angelo State on Friday.
