Jaxon Gregory reached base four times, but Northeastern State fell to Washburn 11-2 on Sunday afternoon in the series finale.
Gunner Lakins and
Jake Woodring each drove in a run with RBI singles for the RiverHawks, who struck out nine times. Gregory led the offense with two hits and two walks.
Washburn took control early, scoring twice in the first inning before adding three more runs in the fifth. The Ichabods finished with 16 hits.
Ray Wei (1-2) made his second career start, working the first two innings.
Parker Allen followed with four innings of relief, marking his longest outing of the season.
Northeastern State dropped to 11-21 overall and 6-14 in the MIAA. The RiverHawks return home to Rousey Field on Tuesday for a conference matchup against Arkansas-Fort Smith. First pitch is scheduled for 3 p.m.
