OKLAHOMA CITY -- An RBI single proved to be the difference as Northeastern State fell 1-0 to No. 15 Oklahoma Christian on Tuesday in non-conference softball action.
The RiverHawks (26-20) were held to three hits and left nine runners on base, including a missed opportunity in the fifth inning when they loaded the bases but were unable to score.
Mia Sarwinski recorded Northeastern State's lone extra-base hit, while
Jensyn Elder and
Gracie Turner combined to limit Oklahoma Christian to three hits in the circle.
Northeastern State will return to action April 27 with a doubleheader at Arkansas Tech.
