TAHLEQUAH, Okla. — Northeastern State University Athletics will transition to cashless ticket sales for all ticketed home events beginning with the 2026-27 athletic season.
Fans will continue to have multiple convenient ways to purchase tickets. Tickets may be purchased in advance online or at the admissions gate on game day using credit cards, debit cards, or tap-to-pay mobile payment options through NSU Athletics' official ticketing partner, vivenu.
The move to cashless transactions is part of NSU Athletics' ongoing efforts to enhance the fan experience, improve operational efficiency, and provide a more consistent purchasing process across all athletic venues. Similar cashless ticketing systems have become the standard at colleges and universities throughout Oklahoma and across the country.
"We're always looking for ways to make attending NSU sporting events as convenient as possible," said Andrew Fletcher, Senior Associate Athletics Director for Development & External Strategy. "Cashless ticketing provides a faster, more efficient entry process for our fans while allowing us to better serve our student-athletes and supporters on game day."
Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance to save time upon arrival. Online ticket purchases also allow fans to store tickets directly in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet for easy access on game day.
For fans who prefer to purchase tickets at the gate, admissions personnel will be equipped to accept credit and debit cards, as well as contactless payment methods such as Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Season tickets and single-game tickets can be purchased by visiting goriverhawksgo.com/tickets or through the official NSU Athletics ticketing platform powered by vivenu.
