FORT SMITH, Ark. – Northeastern State volleyball dropped a 3-0 decision to Arkansas-Fort Smith on Tuesday at the Stubblefield Center.
The Lions took the match 25-11, 25-18, 25-9, handing the RiverHawks a 1-12 overall record and 0-3 mark in Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association play.
Poliana Lazarini led Northeastern State with six kills and 11 digs.
Lanie Brown added three kills and three blocks, while
Devine Okon had four kills on eight attacks.
Sydney Dunkleberger recorded nine assists and five digs, and
Tiyana Bhatte finished with six assists and five digs.
Jordyn Berger had six digs, while the RiverHawks totaled 44 digs as a team.
Northeastern State hit -.045 for the match, finishing with 21 kills and 26 attack errors. Arkansas-Fort Smith hit .265 with 38 kills and added seven service aces.
The RiverHawks return to action Saturday at Washburn.
