TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- Northeastern State volleyball fell to East Central 3-0 Tuesday night at the NSU Event Center, dropping sets 25-16, 25-13 and 25-11.
The RiverHawks stayed within striking distance early in the opening set, but East Central pulled away late to take a 25-16 win. The Tigers carried the momentum into the second set, building an early advantage before taking a 25-13 victory.
Northeastern State battled in the third set, but East Central again pulled away to complete the sweep, 25-11.

Simeon Paradiso led the RiverHawks with seven kills apiece.
Lanie Brown added three kills and a team-high .286 hitting percentage, while
Sydney Dunkleberger finished with 15 assists.
Northeastern State recorded 25 kills and 33 digs.Â
East Central hit .381 as a team and was led by Seran Eran with nine kills. The Tigers also recorded eight blocks.
Northeastern State falls to 1-14 on the season and return to action Friday on the road at Nebraska-Kearney.
