TAHLEQUAH, Okla. -- The Northeastern State women's soccer team battled UT Tyler to a 0-0 draw Saturday evening at DeLoache Field.
The RiverHawks moved to 2-1-1 on the season with the result, which marked the program's first scoreless draw since 2023. Northeastern State finished with eight shots, including two on goal, while UT Tyler recorded 11 shots and five shots on frame.
Goalkeeper Juliette Langlet anchored the RiverHawks defensively, making five saves in 88:52 of action. Grace Knoblock also saw 1:08 in goal and recorded a team shutout as Northeastern State held the Patriots off the scoreboard.
Northeastern State created several opportunities throughout the match. Sophia See recorded two shots, while Dani Smith and Brooke Dodd each put a shot on goal. The RiverHawks also earned four corner kicks.
Langlet made two saves in the opening half as the teams entered halftime scoreless. Northeastern State continued to battle in the second half, with Langlet adding three more saves to keep UT Tyler off the board.
The RiverHawks close out their homestand Tuesday, Sept. 8, against East Central. Kickoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. at DeLoache Field.
