Biography

Briefly:  An All-Conference Honorable Mention selection, returns for his third season with the Redmen. 

 

2006:   Appeared in 54 games last season and led the team with a .356 average.  The catcher had a fielding percentage of .963, while committing only 10 errors.  Nash threw out 15 base runners.  At the plate, Garcia had 36 RBI’s, five home runs and a slugging percentage of .508.

 

2005:  Appeared in only 12 games and had a batting average of .429.  Garcia hit one home run with eight RBI’s.

 

Valley High School:

 

Senior:  An All-District, All-Metro and North/South All-Star Team selection.  Earned MVP of the North/South All-Star Game.

 

Junior:  An All-District selection.

 

 

Personal:  A Health and Human Performance major with an emphasis in Exercise Science.  Enjoys hunting, fishing and playing video games.
