NORTHEASTERN STATE – A returning squad member . . . has been a member of the NSU football team since fall 2013 after transferring from Oklahoma State . . . has also attended Langston University-Tulsa, Emporia State University and Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College . . . has one year of collegiate eligibility remaining . . . took a redshirt in 2013.
 
Senior (2013) – Transferred to Northeastern State and took a redshirt.
 
Oklahoma State University (Spring 2013) – Attended OSU for a semester but was not a member of the football team.
 
Langston University-Tulsa (Fall 2012) – Attended LU-Tulsa for a semester but was not a member of the football team.
 
Emporia State University (2011) – Played in all 11 games in his lone season as a member of the Hornets . . . finished the season with nine tackles and three pass breakups . . . registered a season-high three stops against Pittsburg State . . . finished with a season-best two pass breakups against Washburn.
 
Northeastern Oklahoma A&M College (2009-10) – Participated in 16 games over the course of two seasons as a member of the Golden Norsemen . . . NEO competes in the NJCAA Division I . . . finished his career with 118 tackles, 13 pass breakups, three interceptions (one returned for touchdown), one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.
 
High School – Was an Oklahoma Class 5A-3 All-District performer at Booker T. Washington HS . . . help lead BTW to the 2008 state championship.
 
Personal – Majoring in business administration . . . son of Romon and Monte Beard . . .  born March 5, 1991.
