Biography

2016 - Appeared in all 11 games and made six starts...second primary threat for NSU in the air with 417 yards and 38 catches...had a season high 93 yards at home against Neb.-Kearney...caught two TD passes vs. Emporia State...named to MIAA Academic Team...was honored by Oklahoma Chapter of the National Football Foundation (NFF) as a College Player of the Year. 

2015 - Played in all 11 games with eight starts...finished second on the team with 30 receptions and third on the squad with 410 yards...also added one touchdown and three special team’s tackles...made a season-high five receptions for 58 yards against Emporia State...had four catches against both Missouri Western State and Lindenwood...the LWU game included his first 100-yard performance (104)...found the end-zone against Missouri Southern State.
 
Background –
Played in five games during his lone season as a member of the Braves ...helped lead Ottawa College to a 9-3 record overall and the Kansas Collegiate Athletic Conference Championship with an 8-1 league mark...finished the year with two receptions for 12 yards....four-year letterwinner in football and basketball for Vinita HS...also earned two letters in baseball for the Hornets...on the football field he earned All-District and All-Conference honors...was also named to the Oklahoma 4A All-Star All-Class team...in 2013 he was named District 4A-3 Defensive Back of the Year...he tied the school record of receptions in a season with 56 in 2013...for his career, King finished with 147 rushing attempts for 745 yards and four rushing touchdowns...he also had 94 receptions for 1,237 yards...on the defensive side of the ball, he finished with 224 career tackles and 12 interceptions ...on the basketball court, he helped lead VHS to the 2010-2011 Oklahoma State Basketball Tournament and to a 2011 Area Championship...he was named to the All-Tournament team at the Pryor Invitational in 2014.
