Briefly: True freshmen who joins the RiverHawks after an outstanding prep career. Good leg and very accurate kicker. Will push for a starting spot quickly.

High School: Played football three seasons at Jenks High School and head coach Alan Trimble ... also participated in track as a sophomore and soccer as a freshman ... Special Teams Player of the Week twice as a senior ... participated in two Oklahoma Class 6A state championship games for the Trojans.

Personal: Son of Darren & Jamie Beers and has yet to declare a major at NSU. Cousin, Chad Sunderland, attended Kansas and was a backup swimmer on the US Olympic Team.
