Northeastern State Head Coach Clay Davis
On game one…
"Their pitcher did a great job and threw a no-hitter, when you do that you deserve all the credit in the world.
Shelbie Wagnon did a great job for us, kept us in the ball game, and gave up one run. You would expect if your pitcher does that you would win the ball game but their pitcher was better." Â
On game two…
"We had some opportunities early in the ball game to come up with a big hit and we couldn't do it. The game got pressed into extra innings and they got a big three-run home run with two outs. When we are facing good pitching we need to take advantage of the few opportunities that we get and I didn't feel like we did that today."
