Box Score 2 TAHLEQUAH, Okla. - The Northeastern State softball team dropped a non-conference doubleheader to Central Oklahoma on Saturday afternoon at RiverHawks Park.
The Bronchos (31-9) threw a no-hitter in the first game and run-ruled the RiverHawks (24-20) twice.
UCO 13, NSU 0 (box score)Central Oklahoma took an early lead in the top of the second inning scoring two runs to lead Northeastern State 2-0.
The Bronchos plated one run on a single to the right side. Then UCO's Emily Ditmore homered to right center in the top of the third frame to score two and improve their score to 6-0.
Central Oklahoma lit up the top of the fourth inning with three players blasting home runs to ensure the win 13-0.
The Bronchos hurler Kalynn Schrock threw a no-hitter to end the game in five frames.
Junior
Laura Fleck (4-3) took the loss in the circle after throwing 4.1 innings. She allowed 14 hits and 13 runs. 12 of those runs were earned. Sophomore
Kayce Wooldridge threw the remaining .2 and allowed no hits or runs.
UCO 12, NSU 4 (box score)The Bronchos jumped ahead of the RiverHawks plating three runs in the top of the first frame and then two more runs in the top of the second inning to lead NSU 5-0.
Junior
Alyssa Aguilar singled up the middle to score freshman
Lauren Flanary to change the score to 5-1 in the bottom of the third frame. Aguilar's hit was the first of the day.
UCO's Kalynn Schrock homered late in the top of the fourth to notch four RBI and improve the Broncho lead 9-1.
Central Oklahoma plated three runs in the top of the fifth to up the score 12-1.
The RiverHawks started to come around in the home half of the fifth frame to score three runs. Senior

Megan Alsenay on a single to left field. Freshman
Krysti Cearley plated Aguilar on a single to shortstop. The drive to score for NSU ended after the three runs with UCO defeating the RiverHawks 12-4 in five frames.
Aguilar, Robison, Campos and Cearley each added one hit and one RBI for Northeastern State. However UCO outhit team NSU 12-4.
Sophomore
Alex Files (2-2) tabbed the loss in the circle after throwing 4.1 frames. She allowed 15 hits and 12 earned runs. Senior
Kylee Cole stepped in for the remaining .2 of the contest and allowed no hits or runs.
The RiverHawks will be back in action on the road against Washburn for a doubleheader set to begin at 2 p.m. April 11 in Topeka, Kan. at the Washburn Softball Complex.
