Live StatsTAHLEQUAH, Okla. – The Northeastern State softball team is set to play the first home games of the 2015 season when they host a weather-shortened Softball Festival at RiverHawks Park. The RiverHawks (4-4) will take on Rogers State (0-2) and Bacone (2-4) on Feb. 19. Â
The tournament, originally scheduled to include nine games played over three days, has been shortened due to inclement weather in the forecast. The schedule now pits Northeastern State against Rogers State at 10 a.m., Rogers State against Bacone at noon and Northeastern State against Bacone at 2 p.m Feb. 19. All games Friday, Saturday and Sunday have been canceled. Additional games have officially been added for Feb. 24. NSU will face RSU at 10 a.m., followed by RSU vs. Ottawa University at noon and NSU vs. OU at 2 p.m.
SCOUTING THE HILLCATSÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Â Rogers State University is located in Claremore, Oklahoma, and the team competes in the Heartland Conference. The Hillcats are 0-2 in the young 2015 season, losing twice to Cameron. RSU was picked to finish sixth in the preseason Heartland poll. The Hillcats finished the 2014 season with an 18-32 record. They return infielder Carley Conley who hit .287 with 10 doubles and 26 runs batted in during the 2014 campaign.

SCOUTING THE LADY WARRIORSBacone College is located in Muskogee, Oklahoma, and the team competes in the Red River Athletic Conference in the NAIA. The team is 2-4 in 2015 after splitting with Oklahoma Wesleyan and Southwestern College, and losing twice to Mid-American Christian. The Lady Warriors were 22-31 in 2014. Rhiannon Bean (.351), Kayla Bay (.331) and hunter Colburn (.300) all hit above .300 a year ago. Bacone also returns pitcher Sylver Collins who was 10-7 with a 5.22 ERA in 2014.
