TAHLEQUAH – Due to the strong possibility of rain, Northeastern State's final regular season contests have been postponed to Sunday and Monday.
 
The RiverHawks will visit Pittsburg State on Saturday for a 4 p.m. first pitch to play two games and then they will head to Missouri Southern on Monday for a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m. in Joplin. 
 
Heading into the final weekend of MIAA play, the RiverHawks are 11-11, and 23-24 overall.  Northeastern State will need a solid weekend on the field as they are a game back of Southwest Baptist for eighth and final spot into the MIAA Tournament. 
 
Pittsburg State has clinched a tournament berth with a 16-6 MIAA mark and were receiving votes in this week's NFCA Poll with a 39-13 record.  Missouri Southern is in fourth holding onto a 14-8 recording in MIAA play, with a 26-25 overall record.
