A trip down the road...
This Saturday's visit to Missouri Southern is the shortest this season for the RiverHawks at 120 miles between institutions.

Back under the lights
This Saturday's contest is not considered a true night game but will end under the lights.  Northeastern State opened with four straight evening games, with two at home, and two on the road.

On this date
Northeastern State has played on Oct. 20th 12 times with its last contest on this date coming in 2012 against Central Missouri at home.  The RiverHawks would win that contest over the Mules 24-23.  NSU is 9-3 when playing on Oct. 20th and of those contests, four have been on the road.

Northeastern State opened the season with three straight contests with teams featured on the AFCA National Poll.   On MasseyRatings.com, the RiverHawks have played the sixth toughest schedule in the nation.
