TAHLEQUAH – No. 11 Northeastern State made quick work of Southeastern Oklahoma, 8-1 in the RiverHawks' long awaited home opener on Friday afternoon.

Northeastern State went 12 days in-between contests to pick up their fourth straight win over a NCAA program. Â Â The RiverHawks rolled through with wins on eight straight courts before the Savage Storm won on court one to close out the contest.

Molly Worden was the overall match clincher with a 6-3, 6-1 win on court two for NSU.Â
Mayra Jovic won her fifth straight in singles with a 6-0, 6-1 victory and was off the court first.Â

Friday's win sends NSU to 4-2 overall while Southeastern Okla. falls to 1-2.

Northeastern State will head to Oklahoma City next on March 6 to face Cameron on a neutral site.
