Under the Lights, Again
This Saturday will end a streak of four straight true night contests for the RiverHawks this season.  Weeks eight and ten will end under the lights with late kickoffs scheduled.

On This Date
Northeastern State has played on Sept. 23 eight previous times with its last coming in 2006 at West Texas A&M.  NSU has been on the road for its last five contests on this date going back to the 1967 season.  Two of those contests during that span were played on neutral sites.  In 1995, NSU played Panhandle State in Owasso, while in 1989 they played Southern Arkansas in Miami, Okla.

Against Ranked Teams
Northeastern State opened the season with three straight contests with teams featured on the AFCA National Poll.  NSU's last two contests were against teams appearing in the top-25.  On MasseyRatings.com, the RiverHawks have played the fifth toughest schedule in the nation.
