Box Score 2 WARRENSBURG, Mo. ---- Northeastern State was unable to avoid the series sweep as Central Missouri used a walk-off single in the ninth inning to take game two 4-3 in an MIAA conference doubleheader at Crane Stadium Friday. The Mules took the opener 16-0 in seven innings.
The RiverHawks fall to 2-15 and 1-5 in MIAA action.
After dropping the opener, NSU took the early advantage in the nightcap. Â Colton

Wes O'Neill and Zach Henderson followed with singles to load the bases with no outs in the frame. Â
Alex Massie pushed the first run across with a sacrifice fly and
Brad Chronister's single gave the RiverHawks a 2-0 lead after two innings of play.

Wes O'Neill pushed the RiverHawks lead to 3-0 in the third inning.
The Mules began to slowly chip away at the lead with one in the third, one in the sixth, one in the eighth inning and the game-winning run in the ninth inning to take the 4-3 victory.

Jonathan Smithey lasted five and third inning, allowing two runs and scattered five hits. Â
Trevor Smith was credited with a loss, going three innings, allowing two runs and one hit on the day.
