BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – Northeastern State is in fifth place after the first day of the Central Region Fall Preview at Adams Point Golf Club on Tuesday, shooting a team score of 307.
The RiverHawks are led by
Aitana Hernandez and
Nina Lee, both of whom are tied for 13th after shooting 76.
Kaylee Petersen is tied for 27th with a score of 77.
Kelly Swanson carded a 78 on the day to put her in a tie for 34th.
Karlei Hemler finished the day tied for 45th with a score of 79.
Rogers State is in the lead after shooting 302 while Henderson State, Central Missouri and Sioux Falls are all tied for second at 303.
Maddie Schintz of Minnesota State is the individual leader after shooting even-par 72. She holds a one-stroke lead over MacKayla Olsen of Upper Iowa.
The RiverHawks will finish the Central Region Fall Preview on Wednesday morning before returning to Tahlequah to host the NSU Women's Classic on Sept. 9 and 10.
