SAN ANTONIO, Texas – Northeastern State improved by ten strokes but remained stuck where they started the day, finishing in tenth place out of 12 teams with a 674 score on the par-72, 5,976 yard Dominion Country Club.
The RiverHawks had a trio of players tied for 36th place:
Aitana Hernandez,
Nina Lee, and
Yasmin Hang carded a 161 score. Lee shot the low for the tournament Tuesday with a 75; her score was the lone sub-80 card for the RiverHawks.Â
NSU was limited to just ten birdies in two rounds, third lowest in the field, and had 82 pars.Â
West Texas A&M claimed the tournament title with a 592, beating St. Mary's by eight strokes.
