PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. – Against the backdrop of a field that could rival this spring's NCAA National Championship, Northeastern State is 11th at The Patriot Invitational scoring a 635 (316-319) on the par-71, 5897 yard Poppy Hills Golf Club. 

The 12 team field featured three teams ranked in the top-10, including last season's National Champion, and hosts Dallas Baptist. 

Yasmin Hang shot the low score for NSU and is tied for 27th overall, shooting a 155 (75-80).  Kaylee Petersen shot matching 79s in her two rounds and is tied for 38th; Nina Lee is a stroke behind her, shooting a 159 (79-80).

Aitana Hernandez scored a 163 (83-80), and Marybeth Bellnap turned in a 167 (87-80).

The RiverHawks were in the middle of the 12 team field with 95 pars but second to last with just ten birdies.   Hang had one of two eagles on the course Monday on the ninth pin in the second round. 

No. 4 ranked Dallas Baptist left the course holding a 14 stroke lead over No. 3 ranked Limestone carding a two-over, 570.

Northeastern State will close out the invitational with the final round on Tuesday morning.
