CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – Northeastern State's
Kaylee Petersen earned her second All-Region selection from the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA).
Petersen is among 40 golfers nationally to be named and joins just six others in NSU women's golf history to earn multiple All-Region honors.
The native of Enid, Okla., just finished her collegiate eligibility in golf, earning All-MIAA First Team honors and guiding the RiverHawks to its 19th NCAA postseason appearance. She completed her career at NSU with a 76.8 stroke average, the third-lowest in a career in the last decade for the program. In 26 events, Petersen earned a top-ten finish in 14.Â
In nine consecutive years, Northeastern State has had a WGCA All-Region selection with 20 overall honorees.Â
