TAHLEQUAH - Northeastern State took its third scoreless draw of the season Thursday as they wrapped up its home schedule against Ouachita Baptist on Senior Night.
The RiverHawks (7-5-4, 5-4-2 GAC/MIAA) more than doubled Ouachita's shot output with 21 taken with OBU goalkeeper Dillon Staal recording 12 saves. Limited minutes on NSU's starting 11 had seven players come off the bench Thursday against the Tigers who took their fourth draw of the season but concluded its season 0-14-4.
Mung Mang led the RiverHawks with five shots with four on-target and took one last stab at a game-winner in the final seconds.
Ivan Lopez returned to the pitch for the first time in nearly two weeks and played 65 minutes.
Ian Milla turned in his seventh shutout of the year and had three saves.
Thursday's draw will pit the RiverHawks against Southern Nazarene in the opening round of that GAC/MIAA Tournament next week in Bethany in a 1v4 seed matchup.
The RiverHawks close out the regular season at Harding on Saturday for an 11:30 a.m. kickoff.
