Women's Golf places sixth at Midwestern State Invite

WICHITA FALLS, Texas – For the consecutive round Northeastern State was forced to play a bag down but managed to move up one spot to finish in sixth place at the Midwestern State Invitational.  The RiverHawks carded a 969 (325-322-322) and was two up on Cameron at the Wichita Falls Country Club.

Nina Lee and Sam Maceli were tied for 24th place, shooting a 241.  Kelly Swanson was in 33rd place, carding a 245 (83-83-79).  Yasmin Hang had NSU's low round Tuesday with a 77 but was out of medalist contention due to missing the opening round Monday, and Hanna Lignell did not play the final round.

Dallas Baptist ran away with the team title shooting a 902 and beating Angelo State by 22 strokes.  DBU's Olivia Mitchel was the medalist firing off a 220

The RiverHawks will have a week off before traveling to Phoenix, Ariz., to play on the Palm Valley Golf Course.
