TAHLEQUAH – Due to weather, Northeastern State softball will not host Henderson State for Tuesday's non-conference contest. A make-up time will be determined at a later date.
The RiverHawks (17-8) will still host Arkansas-Monticello on Wednesday for a doubleheader starting at 4 p.m.
Northeastern State has not hosted the Cotton Blossoms previously, with the series history leaning toward NSU 5-4. The pair met in each team's season opener, with UAM scoring ten unanswered runs to beat the RiverHawks 13-11. Northeastern State went into the fifth inning of that game leading 11-3 and was two outs from run-ruling the Cotton Blossoms.
Arkansas-Monticello will come to Tahlequah on a six-game skid holding a 13-12 overall mark.
Chloe Bohuslavicky is among the top five in the nation and has 14 home runs; the junior broke her school record for single-season homers Sunday against Northern State.
Allison Zanca has a four-game hitting streak and batted .800 last weekend for the RiverHawks with three doubles.
Savannah Evans tossed NSU's second no-hitter of the season Friday and allowed just two hits against Northern State. The junior is batting .439 with eight homers and 22 RBI.
