TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State heads to Missouri Western this weekend and will open a three-game MIAA series with the Griffons on Friday at 4 p.m.
Heading into the final month of the regular season, the RiverHawks hold a 6-11 MIAA mark and will look to climb the conference ladder against the Griffons, who are in last place in the MIAA (3-14). Missouri Western has lost eight of its previous nine games and has been run-ruled six times in 28 games played this season.
The RiverHawks (12-16) split its four-game homestand last weekend.
C.D. White had a trio of doubles during their game Tuesday night and has a hit in the last five games.
Blake Freeman has had multi-hits in the previous three games.
Northeastern State won six of its last seven games against Missouri Western and is 3-10 when facing the Griffons on the road.
First pitch on Friday and Saturday is at 4 p.m., and Sunday's contest is slated for noon.
