TAHLEQUAH – The RiverHawks return to MIAA play this Saturday and Sunday, facing Central Missouri and Lincoln on the road.
Northeastern State (18-13, 0-6 MIAA) is searching for its first MIAA win and gave up leads last weekend in the back of games at Missouri Southern.
Chloe Bohuslavicky has a base hit in ten consecutive games and leads the MIAA with 14 homers.
Savannah Evans bats .435, is second in the MIAA with ten home runs and has started 15 games in the circle.
Central Missouri (20-11, 4-4 MIAA) played a midweek non-conference home doubleheader with Missouri S&T, where they shut out the Miners in both games. The Jennies are 8-4 at home this season and lead the overall series 17-15 over the RiverHawks. Northeastern State has won three of its previous four games against Central Missouri.
Lincoln (4-20, 1-7 MIAA) will face NSU after the Blue Tigers see #8-ranked Rogers State on Saturday. The Blue Tigers head into the weekend on a seven-game skid, with their lone MIAA win coming against Missouri Southern. Northeastern State needed nine innings last time to beat Lincoln 5-4 in Tahlequah but is 20-1 all-time against the Blue Tigers.
Saturday's games with Central Missouri start at 1 p.m., and Sunday's contests begin at noon.
