TAHLEQUAH – The RiverHawks return home Thursday and will open a three-game series with Fort Hays State at Thomas C. Rousey Field.

Northeastern State (14-18, 8-12 MIAA) will have a day off before hosting the Tigers, with the series being played a day earlier due to the Easter Holiday on Sunday.  NSU has won its previous two MIAA series and is presently tied for eighth place in the conference standings.

Fort Hays State (15-22, 5-15 MIAA) will come to Tahlequah winning its previous two games and has surpassed its combined win total for the last two seasons.  Northeastern State has won 15 consecutive games against the Tigers, with the RiverHawks holding an 11-1 mark when defending its home field.

Coby Tweten has swung the hot stick for the RiverHawks as of late, with four extra-base hits in the previous four games and nine RBI.  Blake Freeman is fifth in the MIAA record books with 278 hits; the fifth-year senior holds the program mark for base hits.

First pitch on Thursday and Friday is at 2 p.m., with the series finale Saturday starting at noon.
