Baylea Smith had a pair of hits for the second consecutive game along with a run and RBI but Northeastern State would fall Friday to East Central 4-2.
The Tigers (7-6) plated three runs in the first inning and the RiverHawks were limited to four hits as they dropped its sixth consecutive contest.
Northeastern State (3-7) scored a run in the fourth on a single from Smith and she came on in the seventh on an ECU fielding error.
Madison Heinle had a pinch-hit single and
Drew Hawkins collected a base knock to lead off the fourth.
Northeastern State returns to action on Saturday to face Missouri S&T at 10 a.m.
