EDMOND -- Emily Sampson and Addy Wolfe collected a pair of hits as Northeastern State was swept by No. 8 ranked Central Oklahoma 7-0 and 10-1 on Saturday afternoon.
The runs came in bunches for Central Oklahoma (37-7, 17-1 MIAA) and the Bronchos broke a scoreless game with six in the fourth. They scored the seventh run a frame later.
Northeastern State (8-31, 3-19 MIAA) was limited to four hits with Sampson having two.
In the nightcap, the Bronchos scored their runs in the first three innings. NSU broke the scoreless game in the fifth with Wolfe's second hit of the game scoring Raegan Edwards in from third.
The RiverHawks return home to host Oklahoma Baptist for a non-conference doubleheader on Tuesday at 4 p.m.
