Independence Community College (2009-11) – Played 31 games as a sophomore at ICC . . . averaged 7.7 ppg and was second on the team with 5.4 rpg . . . led the Pirates with 40 blocks . . . shot 49 percent from the field and 49 percent from the free-throw line.
 
High School – Was second-team all-conference both junior and senior years at Lawrence High School.
