NORTHEASTERN STATE – An incoming freshman.

High School – Was a three-year member of the Smoky Mountain All-Conference team . . . was named all-district and all-state senior year . . . was the leading rebounder in all of North Carolina senior year . . . finished second in scoring in Western Carolina senior year . . . named the team’s offensive MVP sophomore and senior years, and was the team’s defensive MVP junior and senior years . . . played in the 2012 Blue and White All-Star Game, which featured the best players in western North Carolina . . . also played in the 2011 Indigenous Games in Milwaukee, Wisc., which featured the best basketball players in Indian Country.

Personal – Majoring in Cherokee studies with an emphasis in language and culture . . . son of Gary and Brenda Sequoyah . . . born July 2, 1995.
