High School – Was a football and track letterwinner at Quitman High School . . . competed under legendary head coach and athletic director Ron Callahan . . . helped the team win the AG Bi-District Championship in 2012 . . . was a member of the National Honor Society in both 2013 and 2014, and competed on the varsity marchin band from 2008-13 . . . was admitted into the United States Military Academy, but chose instead to attend NSU after a head coaching change at the football program.
