Biography

Brad Cornelsen enters his first season and will look to revamp the RiverHawks offense as he takes over as offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.  Cornelsen graduated from Texhoma High School and played four seasons at Missouri Southern State University.  During those four seasons, he torched opposing offenses through the air and on the ground amassing over 4000 yards passing and 2000 yards rushing becoming the only NCAA Division II player in history and 9th All-Time in any division to accomplish this feat.

Cornelsen began his coaching career at Missouri Southern as a student assistant and held stints as a graduate assistant at Northeastern Oklahoma A&M, Northwest Missouri State and Oklahoma State.

In 2003, Cornelsen became an assistant coach at Illinois State University where he coached the wide receivers and quarterbacks.  In 2008, he returned to Oklahoma State as a graduate assistant with his duties lying with quarterbacks and special teams.  Cornelsen helped the Cowboys to a nine win season and an appearance in the Pacific Life Holiday Bowl.
