Â The RiverHawks lead the MIAA in forced turnovers and with 16.4 per game they are 30th best in the nation. Â Against schools in the MIAA, Northeastern State leads the field at the free-throw line by making 80.9-percent of their shots.
Montre' Williams paces NSU with 14.6 points per game and in his third season has scored 708 points.
Last time out for NSU: Northeastern State hit a season high for scoring on Wednesday night but also allowed a season high in a 100-93 loss at Missouri Southern.

Tanner Mouse adding 17 for NSU. Â The trio led the RiverHawks as they shot a season high 55.6-percent (35-63) from the field and bested their previous game high total by 11 points which was on Nov. 26 at home against Friends.Â
However, Northeastern State couldn't slow down the Lions' offense who hit the century mark thanks to 15 three-pointers, with 12 of them coming in the second half.Â
The RiverHawks out-shot a team for the third time this season with Missouri Southern shooting 47.9-percent from the field. Â Wednesday night's stat oddity would be that Northeastern State has lost in both games they shot over 50-percent from the field this season.Â

The series with Pittsburg State: Northeastern State will meet Pitt State for the 72nd time on Saturday with the RiverHawks trailing in the series 49-22, and have won the last five contests. Â In Pittsburg the RiverHawks are 32-9 overall and have lost their last six on the road.
Last time out for Missouri Southern:Â Jordan London hit a 3-pointer with 51 seconds remaining in overtime to give the University of Central Oklahoma a 75-71 lead and Corbin Byford hit three of four free throws in the game's final 32 seconds to give the Bronchos a 78-71 win over Pittsburg State University Thursday.
Jaxon Holden hit a 3-pointer with 8.8 seconds remaining in regulation to force overtime for Pitt State (3-16, 1-10 MIAA). The Gorillas led by 11 points, at 47-36, with 15:07 to play in the second half, but UCO (12-6, 7-3 MIAA) stormed back with a 24-8 run over the next 10 minutes to work in front, 60-55, with 4:44 to go.
Isaiah Hick led three Gorillas in double figures with 16 points, while Holden added 14 and Brandon Clifford chipped in with 12. Holden made four of seven 3-pointers. His fourth long-range shot pulled Pitt State within a point, 72-71, with 1:14 remaining in OT, before London countered with his deep shot.
Byford scored a game-high 19 points to pace the Bronchos. Jake Hammond added 15 points, while Josh Holliday (11) and London (10) also scored in double figures.
Scouting Pitt State:Â Â The Gorillas have dropped their last six contests and are 2-5 this season on their home court. Â Within the MIAA, Pitt State shoots 42.4-percent from the floor and 35.1-percent from long range. Â From the free-throw line the Gorillas are league's worst holding a 65.2-percentage. Â Jaxon Holden leads Pitt State with 10.9 points a game and he missed the first seven games of the season after suffering a concussion in an exhibition at Kansas State.Â
