After three games played Team Phipps leads the Fall World Series 2-1.
Game 2 turned out to be quite the game - what started as a pitchers dual between
Ryan Summers and
Jonathan Smithey - ended with an epic two out rally to force extras with Team Phipps coming out on top 11-7 in the eighth inning. Its start was delayed two days due to heavy rain in the area.

Ryan Summers pitching his way out of the jam.
The score remained 1-0 heading into the fourth when Team Fehr was able to extend its lead to 3-0. CD White led off the frame with a single to right field, then Smithey got back-to-back strikeouts, following a

Matt Kennedy single. Then back-to-back doubles from Fehr and
Nathan Norris would push the Team Fehr lead to 6-2.
In the top of the seventh it seemed as though Team Phipps would go quietly after the first two outs were recorded to start the inning. But after loading the bases
Chaz Orr came up clutch hitting home run on a full count pitch to left field. That tied the score 6-6.
Seth Key was able to put up a zero in the bottom of the seventh to force extra innings. The game was then postponed until Tuesday due to darkness.

Corbin Lill singled to load the bases and the

Brayden Rodden to push the lead to 5.

Chaz Orr came up clutch again with a solo shot to tie the score. After a two out walk to Phipps,
Corbin Lill snuck a double down the left field line to give Team Phipps the 3-2 lead. Soon after
Connor Bell doubled as well pushing the lead to 4-2. The two run lead would be enough for
Cohen Bell to close things down in his second inning of work.
