What has been your favorite moment as a student-athlete at Northeastern State?
- My favorite moment as a student-athlete was when we came back from a 10-run deficit to beat Lindenwood in my sophomore year.
What has been your most meaningful experience outside of athletics?
- One of the most meaningful things that I got to do here at Northeastern State was help with Special Olympics. I loved getting to encourage the athletes in the event they were competing in and then being able to see how excited they were was one of the best feelings.
Who was/is your favorite professor at Northeastern State, and why?
- My favorite professor at NSU is Dr. Richard Hasenauer, he is a great teacher. He is a professor that wants to see all of his students succeed, he will answer any question that a student has, and he makes the classroom a fun place to be.
Do you have plans for post-graduation yet? If so, what are they?
- I still have another year of school before I graduate, but my plans for the future are to stay in Tahlequah and help coach the RiverHawk softball team.
What advice would you give to younger athletes about their time at Northeastern State?
- My advice for younger athletes here at NSU is, have fun. I would tell them to hang out with your teammates or friends as much as you can because your time here will fly by. Enjoy being around them and to take in every moment that you can, go to all of the athletic events that you can and support your fellow student-athletes, sometimes one of the best fan groups is the other student-athletes that go.
