TAHLEQUAH – Northeastern State University Athletics will host two separate events this Wednesday inside the NSU Event Center. First, at 10 a.m. the department will introduce Matt Cochran as the University's seventh athletics director. At 1:30 p.m., the department will have a meet and greet with new head men's basketball coach Ja Havens.  

Both events are open to the media and public with open seating available throughout the Event Center to allow for social distancing.  Please enter through the front of the building at the main entrance, doors will be left open.  The department will also broadcast both functions on the Northeastern State Athletics Facebook page (HERE).  

Cochran and Havens will be available for questions and interviews after each function. Those attending the Facebook live event can ask a question through that portal.
