EDMOND – Northeastern State men's basketball signee
Christian Cook paced all scorers in the Oklahoma Basketball Coaches Association All-State game on Saturday.
The incoming freshman from Midwest City High School scored 22 points in just 17 minutes of action for the Large West team. Cook shoot 7-for-12 from the field, while drilling four three-pointers, and went 4-for-4 at the line. He also led the Large West squad with three assists.
However, Cook's efforts weren't enough as the Large East team edged their counterparts from the West, 89-84.
The game hosted by Central Oklahoma was the first organized play in months, with most athletics being shut down since this last March.
