TAHLEQUAH -- Northeastern State opens its final regular-season homestand over the next two weeks at DeLoache Field, starting with Missouri Western and Northwest Missouri.

The RiverHawks (4-5-3, 1-3-1 MIAA) are coming off a tough four-match road trip where they faced two teams ranked inside the top-ten nationally and went 1-2-1. 

Callie Rucker leads NSU with four goals and four assists this season; Payton Lieb and Hannah Stettler are second with three goals. 

History with the Griffons
Northeastern State leads the series 6-3 over Missouri Western and is 3-1 at home when facing the Griffons.  2017 was the last official visit for Missouri Western to Tahlequah.  The two teams did meet in the 2021 spring season in the MIAA's postseason, with the Griffons advancing 2-1 in PKs following a 3-3 draw.

Scouting the Griffons (7-3-2, 4-1-0 MIAA)
- Missouri Western has shut out its opponent in the previous three matches; they are third in the MIAA in shutout percentage this season.
- MWSU goalkeeper Anna Mayer leads the nation in minutes played at goal and paces the MIAA with 63 saves. 
- Jaden Skinner and Kaili Campbell each lead MWSU with five goals.

History with the Bearcats 
The RiverHawks lead the series 9-4-1 over Northwest Missouri and have won the last five meetings; the last three have been 2-1 finals.  NSU is 5-1 against the Bearcats at home, with the lone loss occurring in 2009 in non-conference play. 

Scouting the Bearcats (7-4-1, 3-1-1 MIAA)
-  Northwest Missouri is coming off a pair of overtime road wins against Nebraska-Kearney and Fort Hays State. 
- Teagan Blackburn leads NWMSU with eight goals and is sixth nationally with four game-winners this season.
- With 25 goals this fall, NWMSU is fourth in the MIAA and 28th nationally.

The RiverHawks will close the regular season home schedule hosting Nebraska-Kearney and Fort Hays State next week.
