TULSA -- NSU women's golf is in fourth place at the Tulsa Cup, with play suspended near the end of the second round Monday at the Meadowbrook Country Club.
The RiverHawks turned in a 304 in the opening round behind 75s from
Kaylee Petersen and
Aitana Hernandez.
Following the first round, NSU was four strokes back of West Texas A&M for second place and 11 behind hosts Rogers State. Â
Northeastern State left the course 17 back of the lead and 12 strokes behind WT for runner up.Â
Macy Rutland was the lone NSU golfer done with her second round, with the rest between one and four holes left.
At the moment, Herandez is tied for seventh place, shooting a six-over-par with two pins remaining. With the same amount to go,
Nina Lee is eight-over-pair, tied for 14th.
Teams will return to the course Tuesday at 8 a.m., with the final round starting at 10 a.m.
