Aitana Hernandez finished runner-up as Northeastern State wrapped up its season with a third-place finish at the Tulsa Cup.
The RiverHawks turned in a 306 score on their final trip through the par-72, 5966 yard Meadowbrook Country Club and shot a three-round total of 920.
Hernandez earned her ninth career top-5, and it is her third runner-up finish behind a 224 (75-75-74) score. She was tied for fourth with 34 pars and had three birdies on the day.
Yasmin Hang took her third top-10 of the fall with a 229 (78-76-75) and was tied for third overall with eight birdies.
Kaylee Petersen carded a 232 (75-82-75), moving up 15 spots on the leaderboard to finish tied for 17th overall.
Nina Lee was tied for 32nd, scoring a 235 (76-77-82).
Macy Rutland rounded out NSU's group with a 267 (92-88-87).
West Texas A&M overtook Rogers State in the final round to beat the Hillcats by six shots with a 905. The Lady Buffs' Gam Songprasert took medalist honors on a 222 score.
In five tournaments this fall, the RiverHawks earned a trio of top-three finishes. Northeastern State returns to action in late February with a trip to San Antonio.
