INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -- The NCAA released its final Central Region women's golf rankings Thursday afternoon, with Northeastern State slipping one to second.
Presently, the RiverHawks are a very safe bet to qualify inside the top-nine in the final poll that will be released on April 26 by the NCAA.
This spring, the RiverHawks have finished in the top-three in all six tournaments, with a team win in Las Vegas. Freshman Yasmin Hang has taken medalist honors in two of those events.
The top-nine teams in the region and the four best individuals not on those teams will qualify for the NCAA Super Regional hosted by Missouri Western State at the St. Joseph Country Club in St. Joseph, Mo. on May 3-5. The top three teams and the three best individuals at the regional will advance to the NCAA Championships, May 11-15 at the TPC Michigan in Dearborn, Mich.
Northeastern State has qualified for the last nine NCAA Tournaments and 17 of their previous 19.Â
