TAHLEQUAH -- Northeastern State men's basketball will host four different camps this summer. The program will have a shooting camp, a team camp, a day camp and two elite camps.
Camps are held at the Northeastern State University Event Center, and registration is now open at

Shooting Camp
Shooting Camp is designed to focus on the fundamentals of shooting the basketball. It is open to all ages and playing abilities. Shooting camp will be led by Northeastern State University coaches and players. We will break down every aspect of shooting the basketball from shot preparation to follow through. This camp is designed to improve shooting ability and give players a solid foundation to work on throughout the remainder of the summer! The camp will be fast-paced and include drill work and shooting games each day.
Dates: May 24-25
Time: 6:00 – 8:00 p.m.
Grades: K-12
Cost: $40

Team Camp
Team Camp is designed to provide your high school team with the opportunity to compete against other quality programs throughout the region and gain valuable game experience. High schools of all classifications are invited to attend. Team camp is open to programs from Oklahoma and surrounding states. All teams are guaranteed six games (three per day) at the state-of-the-art NSU Event Center or historic Jack Dobbins Fieldhouse.
Dates: June 18-19
Cost: $300 per team
Rules: OSSAA officials will officiate all games. Each game will be played with two 20-minute running clock halves. The last two minutes of regulation will be treated like a regular game with clock stoppages and free throws. Outside of the last two minutes of regulation, free throws will be treated as one shot for two possible points. Overtime will be two minutes and treated like the last two minutes of regulation (OSSAA game rules).

Day Camp
Day Camp is a fun and interactive camp that includes skill development, contests, and games. It will be led by Northeastern State University men's basketball coaches and players. It will focus on teaching the fundamentals of both offense and defense. Each session will include basic drill work and then carry over into competition.
Dates: June 21-23
Two Age Groups: Grades 2-5 and Grades 6-9
Time: 9:00-12:00 p.m. (Grades 2-5)
1:00-4:00 p.m. (Grades 6-9)
Cost: $75

Elite Camp
Elite Camp is a college prospect camp and designed like an NSU RiverHawks basketball practice. The camp will be led by Northeastern State University men's basketball coaches and players. There will be station work and drilling as well as gameplay where the NSU staff will evaluate players. Each season the team roster has included a player on it that attended elite camp.
Dates: June 27 and August 8 (two separate camps)
Grades: 9-12
Time: 2:00-5:00 p.m.
Cost: $50
