BROKEN ARROW, Okla. -- A steady finish to their round will put the RiverHawks into the lead group when they tee-off for the final round of their tournament Tuesday at the Indian Springs Golf Course. Northeastern State turned in a 301 with three players tied for tenth place on the leaderboard.
However, they will have to make up an 11 stroke deficit, with Henderson State carding a two-over team score (290) and leads Rogers State by four strokes.
Yasmin Hang, Aitana Hernandez, and Macy Rutland all turned in a 75 for the day. Nina Lee and Kaylee Petersen were a shot behind tied for 20th place.
Northeastern State was third-best in birdies with ten and held a fourth place average on par-3s, 4s, and 5s.
Daphney Tilton of Henderson State is the medalist leader scoring a three-under (69) and holds a one-stroke lead.
Northeastern State will be paired with Rogers State and Henderson State on the front nine and tee-off starting at 10 a.m.
