TAHLEQUAH – NSU women's tennis won its third consecutive home opener Friday, 6-1, over McPherson in early non-conference action.
The RiverHawks improved to 2-1 overall with the competition being the team's lone matchup against an non-NCAA opponent.

Alisha Moldakhmetova crushed No. 1 doubles in a straight set as the RiverHawks won on all three courts to clinch the early point.
Valeria Teran clinched the overall match for NSU in No. 4 singles, 6-3, 6-4, for her eighth consecutive victory.
Sandra Mari Marti swept her first set at No. 3 singles and won her second set 6-2.
The RiverHawks remain at home to host Arkasnas-Fort Smith at 1 p.m. on Saturday.
